Supremus + Shade of Akama Down |

So we killed Supremus and Shade. Yippee Skippee. We would've killed Teron Gorefiend too if a couple of people could hit tab + spirit lance faster. Some people really do make baby jesus cry.
Anyway, nothing great to report. We're right on schedule about 6 months behind the uber-guilds. Doing our best to not only not catch up, but also to not care that we are not catching up. Not not not. Not.

So we knocked out Anetheron and Kaz'rogal in pretty short order. We even miraculously got Kaz on the very first attempt, which, if you know this guild, is a miracle on par with Jesus turning water into wine, NC State beating Houston in 1983 and someone giving Chaotix a handjob he didn't pay for. We actually had Azgalor (or whatever, what the fuck is up with these names?) about done too, but then our healers pulled the old "ooops we forgot to heal the MT" trick again and we called it a night. Not bad considering our raid makeup and class balance is about as consistent as US Citizenship class trying to recite the pledge of allegiance. I'd pay good money to have the same group of people from one hour to the next let alone one night to the next.
Oh, yea, special mention of Worriar finally getting an appropriate tanking shield after running around with the [Shield of Impenetrable Darkness] for the last 10 months. When he got it he screamed like my virgin girlfriend on prom night. I'm still trying to figure out if she screamed from me taking her virginity or if she screamed because I was taking her virginity on the floor of an abandoned warehouse with a bunch of crack addicts cheering on and filming. One day I'll have to ask her.

So our first foray into BT was both a success and a failure. The success part was killing Najentus even though we didn't have a great class make-up for it (booooo to the casters not here!). Fight is both easy and annoying. Makes me happy I'm not a healer.
The failure part was our inability to down Supremus due to disconnects. This is a daily occurrence with us, it seems we're always fighting a boss with 20-21 instead of 25. Unfortunately this doomed us on Supremus who would've gone down if all the healers handn't disconnected at the same time. I hate you all.
